While the pandemic kept us from celebrating the achievements of our award-winning members and NACWA’s 50th Anniversary in person, we were thrilled to virtually honor the essential service the water sector provides at NACWA’s Awards Ceremony & 50th Anniversary Commemoration on October 28. The celebration began by recognizing Peak Performance Award winners and the amazing people who comprise the water workforce and ensure the nation’s clean water utilities are meeting the highest standards of environmental compliance. We also presented seven utilities with Excellence in Management Recognition for their efforts in ensuring continuous improvement across their organizations.

Commemorating five decades of the tireless efforts of clean water utilities to protect communities and be good stewards of the environment, NACWA was proud to debut the 50th Anniversary Report and Video during the ceremony. Both the Report and Video highlight the accomplishments of our members, tell the story of our Association and detail the collaborative efforts to successfully influence clean water policy in the legal, regulatory and legislative space.
