The clean water sector is standing at a pivotal moment, facing escalating challenges from aging infrastructure, evolving regulations, and environmental impacts, all while grappling with broadening resource constraints. For decades utilities have been pressed to do more with less… less budget, less time due to competing priorities, and less of a workforce to recruit from, while still expected to deliver reliable, high-quality services. With the advent of artificial intelligence (AI), doing more with less isn't a dream anymore, and data-rich utilities are primed to seize upon the promises of this advanced technology to reshape their operations.

This two-day virtual workshop will focus on the transformative role of AI in driving workforce efficiency, improving water quality and strengthening operations. With strong momentum at the federal level—from both Congress and the Administration—around promoting cutting-edge technologies, this workshop will provide a timely opportunity for utility leaders to learn from peers and explore emerging tools and strategies.

In addition to showcasing promising new approaches, the workshop will address key digital challenges facing utilities, including how to leverage AI responsibly, protect critical systems from growing cybersecurity threats and ensure workforce training and development keeps pace with rapid technological change. Registration Information

Advance registrations must be received by Friday, September 5, 2025. Advance registrants will receive confirmation via email. Registrations will be accepted after the deadline, but attendees may not be listed on the Participant List. If you have not received a confirmation email within 5 business days after registering, please contact NACWA at registration@nacwa.org. 

Full Virtual Workshop  registration fees include access to all available session handouts, speaker biographies, as well as a recording of each session.
