NACWA Recognizes Utilities, Public Servants for Leadership in Environmental Protection

(MIAMI – Feb.3, 2026) – The National Association of Clean Water Agencies (NACWA) today recognized 39 utilities and two public servants with National Environmental Achievement Awards. This year’s honorees have made an extraordinary impact through initiatives that protect the environment, safeguard public health and enrich communities across the nation.
“This year’s National Environmental Achievement Awards winners embody the highest standards of public service and environmental stewardship," said Adam Krantz, NACWA CEO. "Their accomplishments demonstrate excellence and innovation while advancing solutions to some of the nation’s most pressing water and infrastructure challenges.”
The National Environmental Achievement Awards recognize individuals and NACWA member agencies that have made outstanding contributions to environmental protection and the clean water sector in 11 different categories.
