A bipartisan group of lawmakers, including Representatives Eric Sorensen and Rob Bresnahan, has introduced the Low-Income Water Assistance Program (LIHWAP) Establishment Act. The bill aims to make permanent the nation’s first federal water assistance program, which expired in 2022.
