About
Transforming Water Policy to Maximize Affordability & Sustainability
Public clean water agencies face unprecedented challenges as aging infrastructure, rising costs, increasing regulatory obligations, workforce challenges, technology innovations, climate resilience investments, and more place growing demands on local utilities. For many utilities, these converging pressures are stretching customer affordability toward a breaking point - at the same time that much of their physical infrastructure is also at a breaking point.
NACWA's 2027 Winter Conference will explore how policies at the federal and state level are impacting water affordability and sustainability, and how utilities are bringing forward solutions to navigate the extremely complex clean water management landscape which utility leaders face today. It will examine the investments, policies, partnerships, and advocacy strategies needed to help utilities navigate these challenges to providing essential clean water services. The Conference will also discuss advocacy strategies and communications tools to help public clean water utilities meet the challenges facing their communities while advancing affordability, innovation, and resilient systems - including NACWA’s recent We Transform Water, Water Transforms Lives communication initiative.
Don't miss this opportunity to engage with fellow utility executives and industry leaders from across the country and be part of the critical conversations shaping the future of clean water.
