Affordability Discussions Central to Upcoming Transformative Issues Symposium
(July 24, 2018) - Water and wastewater utility professionals will gather in Washington DC on August 6-7, for a unique glimpse into the most important and challenging issues associated with affordability, and a pointed discussion with expert thought leaders on how to best address these issues.
The American Water Works Association (AWWA) and the Water Environment Federation’s (WEF) are partnering for their first annual Transformative Issues Symposium on Affordability event to engage professionals and cultivate the exchange of ideas on affordability.
NACWA is hosting a technical session on August 6 specifically tailored around the timely and cross-cutting issues of integrated planning, affordability, and the increasingly stringent regulatory requirements that are keenly impacting the municipal clean water community. Panelists include Danielle Purnell with Seattle Public Utilities, Fred Andes with Barnes & Thornburg LLC, Gary Belan with American Rivers, and the sessions will be moderated by Eric Rothstein with the Galardi Rothstein Group.
Register today and join NACWA members and the other water professionals as we dissect innovative ways municipalities are using integrated planning to holistically address and prioritize affordability, aging infrastructure, and other community needs.
