NACWA to Host Webinar on WOTUS Rule; Administrative Law in the New Supreme Court
On Wednesday, September 13, from 2:00-3:30 ET, NACWA will host the next installment of its popular Hot Topics in Clean Water Law webinar series. The webinar will feature a panel of expert clean water attorneys providing critical legal and regulatory insights for both clean water attorneys and managers.
As the U.S. Supreme Court heads into its first full term since the addition of Justice Neil Gorsuch, this webinar will include a timely discussion of administrative law and clean water regulation. The webinar will provide a refresher course on the basics of administrative law, along with a discussion of recent cases and the likely future of familiar doctrines like Chevron deference and non-delegation in the new Court. The webinar will also include a discussion of the litigation surrounding the 2015 Clean Water Rule, and the Trump Administration’s two-step approach to repealing the rule and replacing with a new Waters of the United States (WOTUS) rule.
Registration for the event is complimentary for NACWA Members. Not a member? Contact Kelly Brocato for more information and registration options.
