Nov 12, 2020

(November 12, 2020) – In a significant legislative achievement, President Trump signed S. 3501, America’s Conservation Enhancement Act, into law on October 30. This comprehensive bill seeks to advance habitat and wildlife conservation across the U.S., including watershed conservation.

Among other provisions, the act reauthorizes the Chesapeake Bay Program at roughly $90 Million per year for five years and reauthorizes the North American Wetlands Conservation Act. The bill was advanced through Congress over the past year and secured strong bipartisan support.
