EPA to Host Webinar Tomorrow on Water Utility COVID-19 Financial Impact Tool; Members Encouraged to Register
(October 7, 2020) – This Thursday, October 8, from 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. ET, EPA’s Office of Water is hosting a complimentary webinar on the Agency’s Water Utilities Financial Impact Tool and 2020 COVID-19 Water Sector Survey. The webinar will include a live demonstration of the tool as well as a discussion of the results of the survey.
For those unfamiliar, the Water Utilities Financial Impact Tool leads utilities through questions that can determine how their revenues, expenses and cashflow have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. The survey assesses the challenges and needs faced by the water sector during the pandemic to determine if utilities have the financial resources to continue their operations while providing safe water and wastewater treatment.
