(February 19, 2019) - NACWA’s recent Winter Conference included a compelling panel presentation on how various utilities are pursuing a variety of community benefit programs.
During the session, a poll conducted of the audience found that 92% of the attendees indicated a willingness to implement some type of community benefits program or project. NACWA is very gratified by this result and is interested in forming a community of practice among our interested members to share ideas and resources.
If your utility has a community benefit program, we would like to know about it. And if you are interested in learning more about utility community benefit programs and would like to network with similar utilities, we would like to know that too. Please contact Nathan Gardner-Andrews, NACWA’s Chief Advocacy Officer, to share your story or for more information.
