If you made Capitol Hill visits while in Washington, DC last week for Water Week, NACWA wants to know about it! Please visit our new and improved online Congressional Toolbox, click on the “log your meeting” link, and provide details on who you met with and the issues discussed. NACWA is working to get an accurate count of the number of Hill meetings held by our members, so your willingness to provide some brief information on your meeting is very much appreciated.
Meeting with legislators during Water Week is important, but it is equally critical to meet with them throughout the year as well – both in Washington but also back home in their home districts. NACWA requests that all members please let us know of any meetings you may have with your Members of Congress or their staff at any time by using the link on the Congressional Toolbox website. You can also contact NACWA’s legislative team of Kristina Surfus and Jason Isakovic directly at any time. Thank you for all the advocacy you do to help advance clean water!
