PORT CHARLOTTE — The label may say “flushable,” but Charlotte County Utilities is warning you not to do it.
CCU urged customers not to flush certain “flushable” items after “mounds of wipes and rags ... accumulated at our East Port Reclamation Facility” and had to be removed, according to a social media post.
