HOUSTON COUNTY, Ala. (WDHN) — The Houston County Commission approved some procedural changes to an agreement on Monday that will allow them to use ARPA money for the water infrastructure project.
The goal of the $5 million project is to run a 16-inch water line down Highway 231 South and also build a water tower that will hopefully provide more water availability for residents on the south side of the county and even increase the water pressure.
Then the project will also bring water to the county’s industrial park, which will allow the county to develop that property.
