HOMER, Ill. (WCIA) — The Village of Homer is asking neighbors to stop flushing various items down the toilet.

In a Facebook post, Village officials showed a picture of what they said, “is the result of flushing ‘flushable’ wipes, all feminine products and other foreign objects down the toilet.” They went on to say that turns into more maintenance and higher sewer bills to cover the cost.
