The Charleston Water System is suing several major manufacturers and some large retailers and manufacturers over toilet wipes that have backed up sewage lines and clogged pumps at the local treatment plant in recent years. 

The product liability lawsuit targets companies such as Procter & Gamble, Kimberly-Clark, Costco, CVS, Target, Walgreens and Walmart, which either makes, market, distribute or sell the disposable products.
