Clean Water Community Remembers Thomas Lauro

May 1, 2020

(May 1, 2020) – Members of the public clean water sector in New York and across the country are remembering Thomas Lauro, former Commissioner of the Westchester County (New York) Department of Environmental Facilities, who passed away from complications related to COVID-19 on April 22.  Tom was a long-time and active member of the New York Water Environment Association (NYWEA) and had dedicated his career to serving the public clean water sector and advancing the cause of clean water.

NACWA’s thoughts are with Tom’s family and friends during this difficult time, and the Association is grateful for his service to the public clean water community.
