NACWA Talks Clean Water Advocacy at Texas Water 2018
(May 1, 2018) - NACWA presented at the Texas Water 2018 conference in San Antonio, TX on April 24, providing a national update on the Association’s legislative, regulatory, and legal advocacy efforts, which include recent efforts on federal funding, integrated planning, blending, and Clean Water Act liability for discharges into groundwater.
The Association also participated in a separate roundtable discussion at a meeting of the Governmental Affairs Committee of the Water Environment Association of Texas (WEAT).
Texas Water is jointly sponsored by WEAT and the Texas Section of the American Water Works Association (TAWWA) and is the largest regional water conference in the United States, attracting water professionals from across the state to discuss critical issues and technical developments.
NACWA always welcomes the opportunity to participate and collaborate in state or regional water gatherings which advance clean water policy. If you are interested in having NACWA attend as part of a state or regional meeting, please contact Erica Spitzig.
