A simple revision to NACWA’s popular “Toilets Are Not Trashcans” campaign stickers are, according to feedback, producing improved results in both visibility and effectiveness.  The stickers have been re-designed with the tagline, “Only Flush the 3 Ps: Pee, Poop, & Toilet Paper” below the Toilets Are Not Trashcans logo.  This line was added to give people specific instructions about what can be safely flushed, since there are many misconceptions about what personal care items can be flushed down a toilet.  The stickers cling to surfaces such as toilets and are easily removable, making them ideal for giveaways to schoolchildren and other community groups.
