Environmental Council of States Calls for CWSRF Project Profiles
After Congress passed the FY2017 Omnibus spending bill last week that maintains the funding levels for the Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF), many feel that now is the perfect time to reflect upon the importance of this program and how it contributes to the improvement of our nation’s clean water infrastructure. If you have received funding under this critical program, consider submitting a brief, 1-2 paragraph summary to the Environmental Council of the States (ECOS) CWSRF Innovations Report.
The project’s goal is to identify and publish 15 project profiles that “demonstrate the unique uses and dispersion of CWSRF funds.” In particular, ECOS is seeking to identify projects that benefit disadvantaged communities and address sustainability challenges. For more information on this opportunity, please refer to this memo. NACWA strongly encourages its members to participate in this project and help highlight the importance of the SRF program!
