Reuse Symposium

(February 12, 2020) – The American Water Works Association (AWWA) held a technical Symposium earlier this week on global potable reuse efforts and biological treatment initiatives in Atlanta, Georgia. The Symposium highlighted a variety of key reuse issues including source water management, next generation contaminants, the latest regulatory developments like Florida’s ongoing efforts to incorporate direct potable reuse into their existing reuse framework, and Colorado’s initial steps towards advancing reuse in the state.

NACWA would like to thank AWWA for the opportunity to moderate a session on wastewater assessment and treatment integration. The Association continues its work in the reuse space through collaboration with AWWA and others.
