Clean Water Current

(February 6, 2020) – The second night of NACWA’s 2020 Winter Conference saw guests and attendees gather to honor the winners of this year’s National Environmental Achievement Awards.

Honorees included both individuals who have led the field in advancing innovation in their utilities, as well as member agencies who have collectively contributed to environmental protection and the clean water community.

After a full day of lively sessions, with topics ranging from Biosolids to PFAS to legislative and regulatory discussions, and networking activities, including the Women’s Water Network Breakfast and a one-2-one “speed dating” networking event, a packed house came together to celebrate the hard work and achievements of the clean water sector.

As guests made their way to the event, poster boards illustrating each winner’s unique efforts were displayed, providing attendees with the chance to learn more about the work their peers are doing across the country.
