Clean Water Current

As the Clean Water legal landscape shifts and evolves, utility leaders and legal professionals alike are encouraged to attend the only national conference that focuses specifically on the legal and regulatory challenges facing the municipal clean water community.  The National Clean Water Law Seminar and associated National Water Enforcement Workshop will be held on November 14-16 in San Diego, California.

The National Clean Water Law Seminar (NCWLS) is designed to bring together clean water attorneys, legal professionals, and utility leaders to address the critical legal and regulatory issues that impact the clean water sector. The complexity and range of legal issues that utilities face is growing, and can often be daunting, but the invaluable analyses and insights shared at the NCWLS will help utilities develop solutions and best practices for present and emerging legal challenges.

The National Water Enforcement Workshop (NWEW) will address the ever-evolving regulatory challenges and priorities that affect clean water agencies by helping agencies address challenges and seize opportunities in the federal enforcement landscape. By dissecting trends, realities, tools, negotiation tactics, and areas of evolving flexibility, this Workshop will equip clean water agencies with the most up-to-date information and resources to help avoid and/or defend against enforcement actions.
