Hotel Accommodations & Rates

The National Association of Clean Water Agencies (NACWA) has secured a special group rate of $249 per night (single/double) plus applicable taxes, at the JW Marriott Austin.  Reservations must be made by Monday, October 28, 2019 to receive the discounted rate.  After this date, NACWA must release the unreserved rooms, and reservations will be accepted on a space available basis only with no guarantee that the conference rate will apply.

To ensure a hotel room, contact the JW Marriott Austin at 512.474.4777 or make a reservation online.  Be sure to identify yourself as a NACWA Attendee.  Note: Check-in time is 3:00 pm; check-out time is 11:00 am; baggage storage is available for your convenience.  Any requests for late check-out should be directed to the Hotel.

Registration Fees & Information

You may register for the 2019 Fall Strategic Leadership Meeting online at your convenience.

Advance registrations must be received by Friday, October 25, 2019.
  Advance registrants will receive confirmation via E-Mail.  Registrations will be accepted after the deadline although the attendee may not appear in the Participant List.  If you have not received a confirmation within 10 business days after registering, please contact NACWA at registration@nacwa.org

Bringing a Family Member?

Do you have a spouse or family member joining you in Austin?  Be sure to register them so they can join you at the NACWA social event.  Please Note: Complimentary guest registration is intended solely for spouses/domestic partners or members of a registrant’s immediate family and cannot be used to register professional colleagues.

Attire

We want you to be comfortable, so you can enjoy your experience! Therefore, business casual dress is strongly encouraged. We suggest bringing a light sweater or jacket with you during the day as meeting rooms are air conditioned.

General Waiver & Release

By registering for this National Association of Clean Water Agency (NACWA) sponsored meeting/conference, each registrant acknowledges and assumes all risks associated with participation in the meeting and any associated on and off-site events/activities/tours (collectively “associated events”). Each registrant agrees, on behalf of him/herself, heirs and assigns, to waive and release, NACWA, its employees, directors, officers, volunteers, agents, successors, licensees, assigns, vendors, and sponsors (collectively “NACWA”) from any and all claims, liabilities, or causes of action arising from participation in this meeting and any associated events whether or not such damage, injury or loss may occur on the premises of the meeting, at off-site venues, in participating hotels or on event ground transportation.

Consent to Use Image

Registrant grants full permission to NACWA to take any and all photographs, motion pictures, recordings, or any other record (collectively “images”) of registrant in connection with this event and to copyright, use and publish the same in audio, photographic or video format for any lawful purpose. Registrant agrees that NACWA is not responsible for unauthorized use of the images. Registrant further acknowledges that he/she is not entitled to compensation and that the images may appear with or without the registrant’s name.

Continuing Education Credits

Attend NACWA’s 2019 National Clean Water Law & Enforcement Seminar and you can earn credits toward your certification or recertification.  Simply stop by the NACWA registration desk and drop off your business card or email Ebony Scott at escott@nacwa.org  after the Seminar and we will make sure you have a letter certifying your attendance.  

If you are interested in Continuing Legal Education Credits specifically, please visit the CLE Page and be sure to sign-in on the daily attendance sheet. CLE forms/letters will be made available for pick-up on the final day of the Seminar at the NACWA registration desk.

Ground Transportation

The JW Marriott Austin is approximately 10 miles from the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) The hotel does not offer a complimentary shuttle; however, there are several transportation alternatives:

Taxi Cab  
A one-way trip from the airport to the hotel is approximately $32.

Uber
An UberX from the airport to the hotel is approximately $25.

Lyft  
The fare from the airport to the hotel is approximately $21 - $24.

Super Shuttle

Capital Metro
The fare from the airport to the hotel is $2.50 (one-way). Head to the Ground Transportation level of the airport. Walk outside and look for the neon blue guitar bus stop. Take the bus to Lavaca and West 4th St. The hotel is about an 8 minute walk from the bus stop.

Car Rental

Hotel Parking
Self-parking is available at $35 per day. Valet parking is also available at $49 per day with in and out privileges. Please keep in mind the parking rates do not include tax.
