Accommodations & Rates

The National Association of Clean Water Agencies (NACWA) has secured a special group rate of $229 per night (single/double), plus applicable taxes, at the Tampa Marriott Waterside Hotel & Marina.  Reservations must be made by Friday, January 13, 2017 to receive the special rate, based on availability.  After this date, NACWA must release the unreserved rooms, and reservations will be accepted on a space available basis only with no guarantee that the conference rates will apply.

To ensure a hotel room, contact the Tampa Marriott Waterside Hotel & Marina online or at 813.221.4900.  Be sure to identify yourself as a NACWA attendee.  Note: Check-in time is 3:00 pm; check-out time is 12:00 pm; baggage storage is available for your convenience.  Any requests for late check-out should be directed to the Hotel.

Register one of two easy ways

  2. Mail/Fax: download and complete the registration form and send it with payment to NACWA.

Advance registrations must be received by Wednesday, January 18, 2017.  Advance registrants will receive confirmation via e-mail.  Faxed and online registrations will be accepted after the deadline but attendees will not be listed in the Participant List.  If you have not received a confirmation within 5 business days after registering, please contact NACWA at registration@nacwa.org.

Full conference registration fee includes access to all activities Sunday through Tuesday, including but not limited to: committee meetings; general sessions; and, evening social events including transportation (if not within walking distance of the meeting hotel).  Meals included are:  breakfast during a committee meeting on Tuesday; as well as light food and beverage at the Sunday and Monday evening receptions.  There will also be morning and afternoon beverage service Sunday afternoon through Tuesday afternoon.

Cancellation/Substitution Policy

All registration cancellations and refund requests must be made in writing.  A full refund will be made if NACWA receives the cancellation by January 18, 2017.  Thereafter, a $300 cancellation fee will be applied.  Submit all requests to registration@nacwa.org.

Substitution of registrations is permitted prior to the conference.  Only one substitution is permitted per original registrant. 


We want you to be comfortable so you can enjoy your experience! Therefore, business casual dress is strongly encouraged. We suggest bringing a light sweater or jacket with you during the day as meeting rooms are air conditioned.  We do request business attire on Sunday and Monday evening.

General Waiver & Release

By registering for this National Association of Clean Water Agency (NACWA) sponsored meeting/conference, each registrant acknowledges and assumes all risks associated with participation in the meeting and any associated on and off-site events/activities/tours (collectively “associated events”). Each registrant agrees, on behalf of him/herself, heirs and assigns, to waive and release, NACWA, its employees, directors, officers, volunteers, agents, successors, licensees, assigns, vendors, and sponsors (collectively “NACWA”) from any and all claims, liabilities, or causes of action arising from participation in this meeting and any associated events whether or not such damage, injury or loss may occur on the premises of the meeting, at off-site venues, in participating hotels or on event ground transportation.

Consent to Use Image

Registrant grants full permission to NACWA to take any and all photographs, motion pictures, recordings, or any other record (collectively “images”) of registrant in connection with this event and to copyright, use and publish the same in audio, photographic or video format for any lawful purpose. Registrant agrees that NACWA is not responsible for unauthorized use of the images. Registrant further acknowledges that he/she is not entitled to compensation and that the images may appear with or without the registrant’s name.

Continuing Education Credits

Attend NACWA’s 2017 Winter Conference and you can earn credits toward your certification or recertification.  Simply stop by the NACWA registration desk at the conference and leave your business card or email tkenia@nacwa.org after the conference and we will make sure you have a letter certifying your attendance.

Bringing a Family Member?

Do you have spouse, family member joining you in Tampa?  Be sure to register them so that they can join you at NACWA receptions and in the spouse lounge.  Please Note: Complimentary guest registration is intended solely for spouses/domestic partners or members of a registrant’s immediate family and cannot be used to register professional colleagues.

Ground Transportation

Taxi Cab
The fare from TPA to the hotel is approximately $25 and is 20 minutes away.

Super Shuttle
Representatives are available at the airport or by phone at 800.258.3826.  Note that the guests must make their own reservations with Super Shuttle to arrange for return transport to the airport.

Car Rental

Hotel Parking
The hotel offers overnight valet parking that is available at $24/day with ‘in and out’ privileges.  Short term valet during the day time is available at $18/day.
