At work: I supervise a group of intensely interested researchers in projects aimed at reducing resource intensity of water treatment and support our highly skilled and multi-talented operations staff in making treatment decisions that protect the public health and waters of Hampton Roads.
Home and family: My wife, Lauren, has been my partner, most adamant supporter, and deeply respected professional colleague for more than 10 years. (We met in graduate school and have worked side-by-side ever since.) We are parents to two witty and energetic kids: a 7-year-old son and 2-year-old daughter.
