Hotel Accommodations & Rates

The National Association of Clean Water Agencies (NACWA) has secured a special group rate of $179 per night (single/double), plus applicable taxes, at the Napa Valley Marriott Hotel.  Reservations must be made by Monday, January 15, 2018 to receive the special rate, based on availability.  After this date, NACWA must release the unreserved rooms, and reservations will be accepted on a space available basis only with no guarantee that the conference rates will apply. 

To ensure a hotel room, contact the Napa Valley Marriott Hotel online or at 707.253.8600.  Be sure to identify yourself as a NACWA attendee.  Note: Check-in time is 4:00 pm; check-out time is 11:00 am; baggage storage is available for your convenience.  Any requests for late check-out should be directed to the Hotel.  

Registration Fees & Information

You may register for the 2018 Winter Conference in two easy ways:

  • Online: complete the online registration to register at your convenience.
  • Mail/Fax: download and complete the registration form and send it with payment to NACWA.

Advance registrations must be received by Monday, January 22, 2018.  Advance registrants will receive confirmation via e-mail.  Faxed and online registrations will be accepted after the deadline but attendees will not be listed in the Participant List.  If you have not received a confirmation within 5 business days after registering, please contact NACWA at registration@nacwa.org.

Full conference registration fee includes access to all activities Tuesday through Friday, including but not limited to: committee meetings; plenary sessions; and, evening social events including transportation (if not within walking distance of the meeting hotel).  Meals included are: light food and beverage at the Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evening receptions.  There will also be morning and afternoon beverage service Tuesday afternoon through Friday afternoon.

The Fairfield-Suisun Sewer District LysteGro Bio-Fertilizer Plant Facility Tour will highlight Fairfield Suisan’s innovative project with Lystek to create a biofertilizer at their facility.  While this is included in your main registration fee, please be sure to RSVP using the registration form or online.  Space is limited!

Cancellation/Substitution Policy

All registration cancellations and refund requests must be made in writing.  A full refund will be made if NACWA receives the cancellation by January 22, 2018.  Thereafter, a $300 cancellation fee will be applied.  Submit all requests via e-mail to registration@nacwa.org.

Substitution of registrations is permitted prior to the conference.  Only one substitution is permitted per original registrant. 

Attire

We want you to be comfortable so you can enjoy your experience! Therefore, business casual dress is strongly encouraged. We suggest bringing a light sweater or jacket with you during the day as meeting rooms are air conditioned.  We do request business attire on Wednesday and Thursday evening.

General Waiver & Release

By registering for this National Association of Clean Water Agency (NACWA) sponsored meeting/conference, each registrant acknowledges and assumes all risks associated with participation in the meeting and any associated on and off-site events/activities/tours (collectively “associated events”). Each registrant agrees, on behalf of him/herself, heirs and assigns, to waive and release, NACWA, its employees, directors, officers, volunteers, agents, successors, licensees, assigns, vendors, and sponsors (collectively “NACWA”) from any and all claims, liabilities, or causes of action arising from participation in this meeting and any associated events whether or not such damage, injury or loss may occur on the premises of the meeting, at off-site venues, in participating hotels or on event ground transportation.

Consent to Use Image

Registrant grants full permission to NACWA to take any and all photographs, motion pictures, recordings, or any other record (collectively “images”) of registrant in connection with this event and to copyright, use and publish the same in audio, photographic or video format for any lawful purpose. Registrant agrees that NACWA is not responsible for unauthorized use of the images. Registrant further acknowledges that he/she is not entitled to compensation and that the images may appear with or without the registrant’s name.

Continuing Education Credits

Attend NACWA’s 2018 Winter Conference and you can earn credits toward your certification or recertification.  Simply stop by the NACWA registration desk at the conference and leave your business card or email tkenia@nacwa.org after the conference and we will make sure you have a letter certifying your attendance.

Bringing a Family Member?

Do you have spouse, family member joining you in Napa?  Be sure to register them so that they can join you at NACWA receptions and in the spouse lounge.  Please Note: Complimentary guest registration is intended solely for spouses/domestic partners or members of a registrant’s immediate family and cannot be used to register professional colleagues.

Ground Transportation

Flying to Napa? There are three airports to choose from: San Francisco International Airport (SFO), Sacramento International Airport (SMF), or Oakland International Airport (OAK). The hotel does not offer a complimentary shuttle; however, there are several transportation alternatives. Please see below for ground transportation details for each airport:

San Francisco International Airport (SFO)
SFO is approximately 60 miles from the Napa Valley Marriot Hotel

Uber: The estimate fare from SFO to the hotel is $120. 

Taxi Cab: The estimate fare from SFO to the hotel is $260-$285.

Evans Shuttle: This shuttle costs $40 one-way and cash only.  Simply visit their website to see the schedule and plan accordingly.   

Super Shuttle: A non-stop ride from SFO to the hotel is an estimated $215. The shuttles will be available on the Arrivals level. Please reserve your shuttle ride beforehand via online or phone, (800) 258-3826.

Sacramento International Airport (SMF)
SMF is approximately 70 miles from the Napa Valley Marriot Hotel

Uber: The estimate fare from SMF to the hotel is $90.

Taxi Cab: The taxis are located near the baggage claim exit. Even though there are multiple taxi companies, all the cars are white and have a Sacramento Independent Taxi Owners Association (SITOA) logo.  The estimate fare from SMF to the hotel is $169.

Oakland International Airport (OAK)
OAK is approximately 55 miles from the Napa Valley Marriott Hotel

Uber:  The estimate fare from OAK is $80. 

Taxi Cab: Family Cab or Veteran’s Cab will be available at your service right outside of baggage claim. The estimate fare from OAK to the hotel is $160.
