Exploring Our Emotional Intelligence

We are excited to invite you to NACWA’s inaugural Women’s Water Network half-day learning event, Exploring Our Emotional Intelligence. This unique event is part of our year-long Authentic Leadership Series and will focus on the crucial role of emotional intelligence in professional development within the water sector.

Led by an experienced professional trainer, this interactive event will feature a comprehensive training session, a luncheon program and ample networking opportunities. Outcomes will include how to:

  • Navigate social complexities and improving communication proficiency;
  • Building frustration resiliency and mitigating stress;
  • Promoting team cohesion and handling constructive criticism;
  • Becoming more self-aware and improving mental health; and
  • Regulating emotions to mitigate burnout.

Professional development credits will be available to those that attend.

Registration Information

You may register for the 2024 Women’s Water Network Forum by completing the online registration to register at your convenience. The registration fee for this event is $150. 

Advance registrations must be received by  Friday, July 5, 2024.  Advance registrants will receive confirmation via email.  Online registrations will be accepted after the deadline, but attendees may not be listed in the Participant List.  If you have not received a confirmation within 5 business days after registering, please contact NACWA at registration@nacwa.org. 

Registration includes access to all Forum sessions. Registered attendees will also receive access to all available session handouts, speaker biographies, as well as a participant list. The Forum food service includes: coffee service throughout the program; and a lunch.

The deadline to receive the discounted rate has passed, and rooms are limited at the Hyatt Regency Buffalo. If you have not yet secured accommodation, we recommend exploring alternative hotels in the vicinity of the conference venue. If you are interested in joining the Reservation Wait List, please email meeting@nacwa.org and provide your arrival and departure dates.

 

Note: Check-in time at the Hyatt Regency Buffalo is after 4:00 pm; check-out time is 11:00 am; baggage storage is available for your convenience. Any requests for late check-out should be directed to the Hotel.
