NACWA Offers Support for Utilities Impacted by Severe Weather
(June 4, 2019) – Many NACWA members across the country have been affected by severe weather events in the last few weeks, seeing their communities suffer often devastating impacts. For those members, and the communities they serve, please know that we are here to support you. Severe weather events such as those experienced over the last few weeks have seemingly become more common, and our utilities remain at the forefront of ensuring the public’s health and restoring services.
In the year to come, NACWA will partner with the Association of Metropolitan Water Agencies (AMWA) to host a series of web seminars and a feature meeting that will focus on resiliency and disaster recovery. More is to come on this program series designed to provide your utility with information and support in dealing with natural disasters.
