(May 29, 2019) – NACWA Member Utility the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission (SFPUC) recently unveiled its Community Benefits Dashboard, which is a tool that tracks and transparently reports out on the utility’s Community Benefits Program and Environmental Justice investments.

The dashboard contains a variety of data, including information showing that more than 77,000 students have participated in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) learning opportunities with the SFPUC and its partners. Additionally, nearly 3,500 youth have enrolled in internships and education programs through the SFPUC’s Project Learning Grant Partnership program.

The dashboard is a tool that other utilities may be interested in replicating.  Members with questions can contact Will Reisman at the SFPUC.
