(September 18, 2018) – As it does annually, NACWA this week is issuing its 2017-2018 Year-At-A Glance - Engage, Advocate, Elevate, which contains a synopsis of the extraordinary achievements the Association has accomplished this fiscal year, through the collective support, engagement and collaboration of its members.

The specialized document highlights growth in the areas of:

• Engagement - Peer-to-peer interaction, whether by attendance at conferences and meetings or through direct utility contact or by other networking platforms, has led to increased opportunity for knowledge sharing, support, education and collaboration.
  
  
• Advocacy – NACWA’s advocacy agenda, powered by the commitment and engagement of Association members, has seen a marked increase in impact, influence and results - with water priorities prominently represented in several pieces of federal legislation, a significant increase in Congressional District representation, increased influence on regulatory and legal issues, and more.

   

• Elevation – Achievements have led to an ever-increasing vision of what can be accomplished together to elevate water as a national priority.

All member agencies will receive a hard copy of the 2017-2018 Year-At-A-Glance in a packet which includes membership information and dues invoices for Fiscal Year 2019.
