New this year, the Fly-In will feature a Rally for Water, a multi-organizational show of unity, held on U.S. Capitol grounds (Wednesday, March 22). The always popular Regulatory Roundtables with EPA program directors are back, this time kicking off the Fly-In on Tuesday, March 21. And time is reserved on Wednesday afternoon for attendees to visit their congressional representatives, followed by a Congressional Reception that evening in the Hart Senate Office Building. To prepare for the Fly-In, a free webcast will be offered on Tuesday March 7, from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm ET as a joint effort of WEF, NACWA, WateReuse, WE&RF, and WRF (see related article). The webcast will provide an overview of the issues, logistics for visiting Washington, and tips on having successful congressional office meetings.
