Clean Water Professionals Gather in Honolulu for NACWA Training; More Training Opportunities at NACWA Pretreatment Workshop

Apr 30, 2019

(April 30, 2019) – Dozens of clean water professionals participated in two courses offered by NACWA in Hawaii last week, NPDES Permit Program Overview for Permittees and Pretreatment Program Overview.  Each two-day course provided comprehensive instruction and allowed for plenty of discussion about specific issues faced by the participants.  NACWA thanks Member Agency the City and County of Honolulu for its assistance with organizing the training.

Additional training is offered in conjunction with the NACWA Pretreatment & Pollution Prevention Workshop.  Prior to the Workshop, full-day training courses are offered on a variety of topics.  This year, four different courses will be held on Tuesday, May 14, in Tacoma, WA: “Pretreatment 101,” “Advanced Local Limits,” “Improving Your FOG Program,” and “Industrial Sampling & Quality Control.”  Registration is still open for the Workshop and training sessions, so make your plans now!

Please contact Cynthia Finley, NACWA’s Director of Regulatory Affairs, for more information about these training opportunities.
