DHS Protective Security Advisor Highlights Resources for Utilities
(March 21, 2018) - Bob Winters, a Protective Security Advisor (PSA) for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), gave a presentation to NACWA’s Security & Emergency Preparedness Committee during a March 19 web meeting.
Winters described the roles and responsibilities of a DHS PSA, as well as the benefits of working collaboratively with PSAs to enhance water utility security awareness and response capabilities. Winters also provided an overview of the tools and resources available through DHS, including resources for assessing and improving cybersecurity.
