Small & Medium Utility Workgroup Explores New Opportunities for Member Engagement

Jan 31, 2017

Small-Medium TrialThe Association’s Small & Medium Workgroup met last week to discuss marketing initiatives for a new Trial Subscription Membership offer for small and medium-sized clean water utilities.  This new initiative, which is currently available and soon to be actively marketed to non-member small and medium-sized utilities, is designed to significantly bolster NACWA’s membership in the utility category, and, as such, significantly enhance the Association’s advocacy reach and effectiveness.

The workgroup suggested enhancements to the marketing collateral that had been developed for this membership campaign. In conjunction with the group, NACWA is working to ensure that small and medium-sized utilities will view Association membership as a viable, accessible option.  This Workgroup supports the Association’s strategic goal to build and further diversify the membership, enabling NACWA to represents utilities of every size throughout the country.

The workgroup also heard an update on the development of the Utility Executive Peer-to-Peer Network, a concept that it has supported since the Network’s inception, and an initiative that will greatly benefit small and medium utilities nationwide.  Additional information on this new opportunity will be provided to the membership soon.
