NACWA honors Environmental Achievement Award winners
The National Association of Clean Water Agencies (NACWA) has announced the winners of its 2022 National Environmental Achievement Awards (NEAA).
NACWA honored the winners during its Winter Conference on Feb. 1, held at the Scottsdale Plaza Resort in Ariz. The NEAA Program recognizes both the individuals and the NACWA-member public clean water utilities that have made outstanding contributions to environmental protection, their communities, ratepayers, and the water sector. NACWA is the only organization to offer national awards of this type to the municipal clean water sector.
The awards are presented to category winners for Distinguished Service, Environment, Local Public Service, Operations & Environmental Performance, Public Information & Education, Public Service, Research & Technology, Special Recognition, Utility Leadership, Watershed Collaboration, and Workforce Development.
