Accommodations & Rates

The National Association of Clean Water Agencies (NACWA) has secured a special group rate of $165 per night (single/double), plus applicable taxes, at the Hyatt Regency Savannah.  Reservations must be made by Friday, October 27, 2017 to receive the special rate.  After this date, NACWA must release the unreserved rooms, and reservations will be accepted on a space available basis only with no guarantee that the discounted rate will apply.

To ensure a hotel room, contact the Hyatt Regency Savannah in Savannah, GA at 912.238.1234.  Be sure to identify yourself as a NACWA Attendee.  You may also make your reservation online. Note: Check-in time is 4:00 pm; check-out time is 11:00 am; baggage storage is available for your convenience.  Any requests for late check-out should be directed to the Hotel.

You may register for the 2017 National Water Enforcement Workshop in two methods.  There is a $50 discount for attendees who pay registration for both the National Clean Water Law Seminar and the Workshop.  If you intend to register online for both events, please be sure to register for the Law Seminar first.  Once that registration is processed, you will receive the discount pricing option for the Enforcement Workshop. Please note that the discount is intended solely for the fully paid registrant and non-transferable.

Full registration fees include access to all sessions starting at noon on Thursday through Friday and an evening reception on Thursday. Registered attendees will also receive access to all available session handouts, speaker biographies, as well as a participants list.  National Water Enforcement Workshop meals included are:  coffee and beverage breaks Thursday afternoon through Friday; a plated lunch and light food and beverage reception on Thursday, as well as continental breakfast on Friday morning.  

Cancellation/Substitution Policy

All registration cancellations and refund requests must be made in writing.  A full refund will be made if NACWA receives the cancellation by Monday, October 30, 2017.  Thereafter, a $300 cancellation fee will be applied.  Submit all requests via e-mail to registration@nacwa.org.

Substitution of registrations is permitted prior to the Workshop if they are received no later than Monday, October 30, 2017.  Only one substitution is permitted per original registrant. 

Attire

We want you to be comfortable so you can enjoy your experience! Therefore, business casual dress is strongly encouraged. We suggest bringing a light sweater or jacket with you during the day as meeting rooms are air conditioned.

General Waiver & Release

By registering for this National Association of Clean Water Agency (NACWA) sponsored meeting/conference, each registrant acknowledges and assumes all risks associated with participation in the meeting and any associated on and off-site events/activities/tours (collectively “associated events”). Each registrant agrees, on behalf of him/herself, heirs and assigns, to waive and release, NACWA, its employees, directors, officers, volunteers, agents, successors, licensees, assigns, vendors, and sponsors (collectively “NACWA”) from any and all claims, liabilities, or causes of action arising from participation in this meeting and any associated events whether or not such damage, injury or loss may occur on the premises of the meeting, at off-site venues, in participating hotels or on event ground transportation.

Consent to Use Image

Registrant grants full permission to NACWA to take any and all photographs, motion pictures, recordings, or any other record (collectively “images”) of registrant in connection with this event and to copyright, use and publish the same in audio, photographic or video format for any lawful purpose. Registrant agrees that NACWA is not responsible for unauthorized use of the images. Registrant further acknowledges that he/she is not entitled to compensation and that the images may appear with or without the registrant’s name.

Continuing Education Credits

Attend NACWA’s 2017 National Water Enforcement Workshop and you can earn credits toward your certification or recertification.  Simply stop by the NACWA registration desk and drop off your business card or email registration@nacwa.org after the workshop and we will make sure you have a letter certifying your attendance.

If you are interested in Continuing Legal Education Credits specifically, please visit the CLE Page and be sure to sign-in on the daily attendance sheet.  CLE forms will be made available on Friday, the final day of the Workshop.  Simply stop by the NACWA registration desk to pick up your CLE letter.

Bringing a Family Member?

Do you have partner or family member joining you in Savannah, GA?  Be sure to register them so that they can join you at NACWA reception.  Please Note: Complimentary guest registration is intended solely for spouses/domestic partners or members of a registrant’s immediate family and cannot be used to register professional colleagues.

Ground Transportation

The Hyatt Regency Savannah is approximately 8 miles from the Savannah Hilton Head International (SAV). The hotel does not offer a complimentary shuttle; however, there are several transportation alternatives:

Taxi:
The fare from SAV to the hotel is approximately $28 and will take about 20 minutes.  You may find one of several taxi companies just outside baggage claim at the airport.

Chattham Area Transit:
Hop on the Airport Express at the bus stop outside the arrivals exit.  The closest bus stop to the hotel is Joe Murray Rivers, Jr. Intermodal Transit Center.  From that stop, the hotel is 0.8 miles away.  One-way fare is $1.50 and a taxi from that point to the hotel will be an estimated cost of $4.

Uber:
The Uber you request will pick you up from the exit on the arrivals level. Using UberX, a trip from SAV to the Hyatt Regency Savannah is an estimated $12-$17.

K Shuttle:
If you plan on taking the shuttle, please plan to reserve your trip. You can book your shuttle online or by calling 912.966.0590. The cost is $20 for a one-way trip and $30 for a roundtrip. Note that the guests must make their own reservations with K Shuttle to arrange for return transport to the airport.

Car Rental:
NACWA selected Avis Rent-A-Car as the official car rental company for this meeting.  Discounts are available by calling Avis directly at 800.331.1600. Our Avis Worldwide Discount Number is T563400.

Hotel Parking:
The hotel has valet parking available at $30 per night with ‘in and out’ privileges.  Self-parking in the Whitaker Street Garage is available for $16 per night but it does not include ‘in and out’ privileges.
