Hotel Accommodations & Rates

The National Association of Clean Water Agencies (NACWA) has secured a special group rate of $140 per night (single/double), plus applicable taxes, at the Hyatt Regency St. Louis at The Arch. Reservations must be made by Friday, June 30, 2017 to receive the special rate, based on availability.  After this date, NACWA must release the unreserved rooms, and reservations will be accepted on a space available basis only with no guarantee that the workshop rates will apply. To ensure a guest room, contact the hotel online or at 314.655.1234. Be sure to identify yourself as a NACWA attendee. Note: Check-in time is 4:00 pm; check-out time is 11:00 am; baggage storage is available for your convenience. Any requests for late check-out should be directed to the Hotel.

The registration fee is listed below:

  • Discounted Public Member Agency (Also registered for ULC) - $275
  • Public Member Agency (Workshop Only) - $325
  • Non-Member Public Agency - $350
  • Affiliate Member - $400
  • Non-Member Private - $500

Advance registrations must be received by Friday, July 7, 2017. All registrants will receive confirmation via e-mail. Registrations are accepted after the deadline but attendees will not be listed in the Participant List.  If you have not received a confirmation within 5 business days after registering, please contact registration@nacwa.org.

Full workshop registration fee includes access to all activities Wednesday through Thursday. There will be coffee service throughout the workshop and light food and beverage during the reception on Wednesday evening.

Cancellation/Substitution Policy

All registration cancellations and refund requests must be made in writing.  A refund will be made if NACWA receives the cancellation by July 7, 2017.  NACWA regrets that no refunds will be issued for the workshop after July 7, 2017.  Substitution of registrations is permitted prior to StratComm:H2O.  Only one substitution is permitted per original registrant.  Submit all requests via e-mail.

Attire

We want you to be comfortable so you can enjoy your experience! Therefore, business casual dress is strongly encouraged. We suggest bringing a light sweater or jacket with you during the day as meeting rooms are air conditioned. 

General Waiver & Release

By registering for this National Association of Clean Water Agency (NACWA) sponsored meeting/workshop, each registrant acknowledges and assumes all risks associated with participation in the meeting and any associated on and off-site events/activities/tours (collectively “associated events”). Each registrant agrees, on behalf of him/herself, heirs and assigns, to waive and release, NACWA, its employees, directors, officers, volunteers, agents, successors, licensees, assigns, vendors, and sponsors (collectively “NACWA”) from any and all claims, liabilities, or causes of action arising from participation in this meeting and any associated events whether or not such damage, injury or loss may occur on the premises of the meeting, at off-site venues, in participating hotels or on event ground transportation.

Consent to Use Image

Registrant grants full permission to NACWA to take any and all photographs, motion pictures, recordings, or any other record (collectively “images”) of registrant in connection with this event and to copyright, use and publish the same in audio, photographic or video format for any lawful purpose. Registrant agrees that NACWA is not responsible for unauthorized use of the images. Registrant further acknowledges that he/she is not entitled to compensation and that the images may appear with or without the registrant’s name.

Continuing Education Credits

Attend NACWA’s 2017 Strategic Communications: H2O and you can earn credits toward your certification or recertification.  Simply stop by the NACWA registration desk at the workshop and leave your business card or email Tina Kenia after the workshop and we will make sure you have a letter certifying your attendance.

Ground Transportation

The Hyatt Regency St. Louis at The Arch is approximately 15 miles from the Lambert St. Louis International Airport.  The hotel does not offer a complimentary shuttle from the airport; however, there are several transportation alternatives:

Taxi Cab:  Taxi is approximately $40.00, each way.

Metrolink:  Hyatt Regency St. Louis at The Arch guests can exit at 8th and Pine Street (hotel is at 4th and Chestnut Street. one block from Pine Street). Total travel time is approximately 27-30 minutes. The trains run approximately every 30 minutes for dependable and efficient St. Louis airport transportation. It is approximately $4.00 to and from the airport.

Go Best Shuttle: A reservation is strongly suggested but not required. Please call 877.785.4682 or click here to make a reservation or for more information regarding the shuttle. The cost is $25 for one person one way or $45 roundtrip for the St. Louis airport shuttle.

Car Rental:  Avis Rent-A-Car is NACWA’s official car rental company for this meeting. Discounts are available by calling Avis directly at 800.331.1600. Our Avis Worldwide Discount Number is T563400.

Hotel Parking:   The hotel offers overnight valet parking that is available at $36/day with ‘in and out’ privileges.  Self-parking is also available, at many parking lots nearby.
