Hotel Accommodations & Rates

The National Association of Clean Water Agencies (NACWA) has secured special group rates of $229 per night (single/double), $249 per night (triple), and $269 per night (quad), plus applicable taxes, at The US Grant.  Reservations must be made by Tuesday, October 23, 2018 to receive the special rate.  After this date, NACWA must release the unreserved rooms, and reservations will be accepted on a space available basis only with no guarantee that the discounted rate will apply.

To ensure a hotel room, contact The US Grant in San Diego, CA at 619.232.3121.  Be sure to identify yourself as a NACWA Law & Enforcement Seminar Attendee.  You may also make your reservation online. Note: Check-in time is 4:00 pm; check-out time is 12:00 pm; baggage storage is available for your convenience.  Any requests for late check-out should be directed to the Hotel.

Advance registrations must be received by Friday, October 26, 2018.  Advance registrants will receive confirmation via E-Mail.  Registrations will be accepted after the deadline although the attendee may not appear in the Participant List.  If you have not received a confirmation within 10 business days after registering, please contact NACWA at registration@nacwa.org

Full Seminar registration fees include access to all sessions Wednesday through Friday and an evening reception on Wednesday and Thursday. Registered attendees will also receive access to all available session handouts, speaker biographies, as well as a participant list.  The Seminar meals included are: coffee services Wednesday morning through Friday morning; light food and beverages at the Wednesday and Thursday night reception; and a plated lunch on Wednesday. 

Cancellation/Substitution Policy

All registration cancellations and refund requests must be made in writing.  A full refund will be made if NACWA receives the cancellation by Monday, October 29, 2018.  Thereafter, a $300 cancellation fee will be applied.  There on after, registration is considered final, and no refund will be available. Submit all requests via e-mail to registration@nacwa.org.

Substitution of registrations is permitted prior to the Seminar as long as they are received no later than Monday, November 12, 2018.  Only one substitution is permitted per original registrant. 

Attire

We want you to be comfortable, so you can enjoy your experience! Therefore, business casual dress is strongly encouraged. We suggest bringing a light sweater or jacket with you during the day as meeting rooms are air conditioned.

General Waiver & Release

By registering for this National Association of Clean Water Agency (NACWA) sponsored meeting/conference, each registrant acknowledges and assumes all risks associated with participation in the meeting and any associated on and off-site events/activities/tours (collectively “associated events”). Each registrant agrees, on behalf of him/herself, heirs and assigns, to waive and release, NACWA, its employees, directors, officers, volunteers, agents, successors, licensees, assigns, vendors, and sponsors (collectively “NACWA”) from any and all claims, liabilities, or causes of action arising from participation in this meeting and any associated events whether or not such damage, injury or loss may occur on the premises of the meeting, at off-site venues, in participating hotels or on event ground transportation.

Consent to Use Image

Registrant grants full permission to NACWA to take any and all photographs, motion pictures, recordings, or any other record (collectively “images”) of registrant in connection with this event and to copyright, use and publish the same in audio, photographic or video format for any lawful purpose. Registrant agrees that NACWA is not responsible for unauthorized use of the images. Registrant further acknowledges that he/she is not entitled to compensation and that the images may appear with or without the registrant’s name.

Continuing Education Credits

Attend NACWA’s 2018 National Clean Water Law & Enforcement Seminar and you can earn credits toward your certification or recertification.  Simply stop by the NACWA registration desk and drop off your business card or email Ebony Scott at escott@nacwa.org  after the Seminar and we will make sure you have a letter certifying your attendance.  

If you are interested in Continuing Legal Education Credits specifically, please visit the CLE Page and be sure to sign-in on the daily attendance sheet.  CLE forms will be made available on the final day of the Seminar.  Simply stop by the NACWA registration desk to pick up your CLE letter.

Bringing a Family Member?

Do you have a partner or family member joining you in San Diego, CA?  Be sure to register them so they can join you at the NACWA receptions.  Please Note: Complimentary guest registration is intended solely for spouses/domestic partners or members of a registrant’s immediate family and cannot be used to register professional colleagues.

Ground Transportation

The US Grant is approximately 3.8 miles from the San Diego International Airport (SAN). The hotel does not offer a complimentary shuttle; however, there are several transportation alternatives:

Taxi
Once you’ve received your baggage, follow the signs directing to the Transportation Plazas to access the taxis. Fare from the airport to the hotel is approximately $18.

Lyft
The fare from the airport to the hotel is approximately $10 - $12.

Uber
An UberX from the airport to the hotel is approximately $10.85.

Super Shuttle

Car Rental
