Hotel Accommodations & Rates

The National Association of Clean Water Agencies (NACWA) has secured a special group rate of $225 per night (single/double double), plus applicable taxes, at the Loews Minneapolis.  Reservations must be made by Monday, June 24, 2019 to receive the special rate, based on availability.  After this date, NACWA must release the unreserved rooms, and reservations will be accepted on a space available basis only with no guarantee that the conference rates will apply.

To ensure a hotel room, contact the Loews Minneapolis online or at 612.677.1100.  Be sure to identify yourself as a NACWA attendee.  Note: Check-in time is 4:00 pm; check-out time is 12:00 pm; baggage storage is available for your convenience.  Any requests for late check-out should be directed to the Hotel. 

Registration Fees & Information

Registration for the Central States Utility Executive Forum is by invitation-only and is complimentary for Public Agency Executives. To register for this meeting, public agency utility executives should email, Tina Kenia, Director of Meetings and Conferences.  Advance registrations must be received by Friday, June 28, 2019. Advance registrants will receive confirmation via e-mail. Registrations will be accepted after the deadline but attendees may not be listed in the Participant List. If you have not received a confirmation within 5 business days after registering, please contact NACWA.

Meals & Attire

Meals during the Forum include lunch as well as beverage service.  We want you to be comfortable, so you can enjoy your experience! Therefore, business casual dress is strongly encouraged. We suggest bringing a light sweater or jacket with you as meeting rooms are air conditioned.

General Waiver & Release

By registering for this National Association of Clean Water Agency (NACWA) sponsored meeting/conference, each registrant acknowledges and assumes all risks associated with participation in the meeting and any associated on and off-site events/activities/tours (collectively “associated events”). Each registrant agrees, on behalf of him/herself, heirs and assigns, to waive and release, NACWA, its employees, directors, officers, volunteers, agents, successors, licensees, assigns, vendors, and sponsors (collectively “NACWA”) from any and all claims, liabilities, or causes of action arising from participation in this meeting and any associated events whether or not such damage, injury or loss may occur on the premises of the meeting, at off-site venues, in participating hotels or on event ground transportation.

Consent to Use Image

Registrant grants full permission to NACWA to take any and all photographs, motion pictures, recordings, or any other record (collectively “images”) of registrant in connection with this event and to copyright, use and publish the same in audio, photographic or video format for any lawful purpose. Registrant agrees that NACWA is not responsible for unauthorized use of the images. Registrant further acknowledges that he/she is not entitled to compensation and that the images may appear with or without the registrant’s name.

Ground Transportation

The Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport (MSP) is approximately 10 miles from the Loews Minneapolis. The hotel does not offer a complimentary shuttle; however, there are several transportation alternatives:

Uber:  An UberX from MSP to the hotel is an estimated $25.

Lyft:  A Lyft from MSP to the hotel is an estimated $20 - $25. 

Taxi Cab:  The estimate fare from MSP to the hotel is approximately $45.

Hotel Parking: Self-parking is available at $22 per day. Valet parking is also available at $45 per day with in and out privileges. Please note that in and out privileges aren't available for self-parking.
