If possible, take time during StratComm to explore the Rock and Roll Capitol of the World. Listed below are just some of the major attractions that are a must-see throughout Cleveland.

A Christmas Story House

"Ralphie, you'll shoot your eye out!" - the infamous line said throughout the 1983 hit movie A Christmas Story. See the iconic leg lamp and other movie memorabilia during a tour in the home where the movie was filmed. 

Cedar Point Amusement Park

You'll be sure to get your thrills at the roller coaster capitol of the world! Some of the rides with a high thrill level include the Gatekeeper, Corkscrew, Steel Vengeance, and Wicked Twister.  

Cleveland Sports

Cleveland is home to the Browns (NFL), Cavaliers (NBA) , Indians (MLB), and Monsters (AHL). Football, hockey, and basketball won't be in season during StratComm, but there will be a home game for the Cleveland Indians on June 4th. If you don't have time to attend the baseball game but would still like to see the stadium, you're more than welcome to take a tour of Progressive Field. Playhouse Square District

Where in Cleveland can you catch a Broadway play, a comedy show, brilliant dance performances, and the world's largest outdoor chandelier? Playhouse Square of course! Even if you're not interested in the performing arts, there are plenty of restaurants to get a great meal.

Pro Football Hall of Fame

This one is for those who eat, sleep, and breathe football! The Pro Football Hall of Fame is a must-see in Ohio. Take a trip to this museum and check out the 300+ bronze bust of the inductees and more.

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

Aerosmith, Aretha Franklin, Queen, and the 2019 inductee Janet Jacket are just some of the few most iconic, inspirational, revolutionary, powerful musicians that have been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. See their exhibits and displays of hundreds of other music greats at this Cleveland attraction.  

Soldiers & Sailors Monument

Located at 3 Public Square stands a monument that honors the significance of the role Cleveland and Cuyahoga County played during the American Civil War. At the base of the monument is a museum that commemorates 9,000 Civil War veterans.

West Side Market
