Management Recognition Award

The 2017 application process has ended.  We will restart the process in the Spring of 2018.  We will announce the date once it has been established.

Honorees will be recognized with a formal presentation of their Platinum-5 Certificate(s) at an evening Awards Ceremony on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 during the NACWA Utility Leadership Conference & 47th Anniversary Annual Meeting, Peer-to-Peer Partnership...Solving Today's Utility Challenges Together, being held at the Hyatt Regency St. Louis at the Arch.

The Excellence in Management Program was launched in 2003 to acknowledge the significant achievements of NACWA member agencies in the utility management arena. This program honors member agencies that are implementing management practices that address the range of challenges identified in the Ten Attributes of Effectively Managed Water Sector Utilities,

Recognition will be provided based on the following criteria:

Platinum Recognition 
Utility has fully implemented, or has taken substantive steps to implement a total of nine of the Ten Attributes of Effectively Managed Water Sector Utilities.

Gold Recognition
Utility has fully implemented, or has taken substantive steps to implement, a total of seven of the Ten Attributes of Effectively Managed Water Sector Utilities.

Silver Recognition
Utility has fully implemented, or has taken substantive steps to implement, a total of five of the Ten Attributes of Effectively Managed Water Sector Utilities.
